HSC Student Visual Arts Workshops
This workshop is a support space for senior high school students undertaking their HSC.
The HSC can be an overwhelming time for students and getting the right balance across all subjects can be hard. As a result, major works are often put on the back burner with the deadline so far away. It can also feel like a massive undertaking. I am offering HSC Visual Art Workshops where students have a dedicated time each week to work on their Body of Work and receive support throughout these sessions.

I have been in the creative industry since leaving university in 2017. I worked as Graphic Design for a company that created educational resources for teachers, this taught me how to make content both engaging and easy to understand for students. I would use the resources myself during my time tutoring students outside of this job.
After this and all the change that 2020 brought, I branched out and wanted to jump back into hands on work. I became an art teacher for a Paint and Sip studio, where I worked for 5 years. Teaching adults an introduction to painting, I really evolved as a teacher, not just the guests attending the classes, but as I became a manager and trainer for new staff. I thrived in the classroom as I saw so many people discover the joy of art.
From here I have been working on carving out my own space in the industry and developing my skills further. Looking for a way that I can help guide and encourage young minds in the art world.I grew up in a small town, where I was often told to choose a realistic path for my future. While I know that this came from a place of caring and love, it was very discouraging to hear. I want to create a space where young people are empowered to explore to arts from someone who has been working in the real world as an artist.
